The classy yet avant garde end result is the above pictured wall clock that is ingeniously crafted from an authentic 20-inch wheel rim of the one-and-only Porsche 911 Turbo.
When it comes to realm of automotive collectibles and related merchandise, Porsche Driver’s Selection has been wowing car aficionados over the years with a host of decor items. Their catalog boasts of some genuinely impressive designs, like a book rack that is created from a real rear-end spoiler of a Porsche 911 GT3, or a bottle cooler that flaunts the robust engine body of another Porsche model.
As for the exalted clock design in limelight here, the contraption exhibits a 10-spoke sports alloy rim body, while its inner ‘clockwork’ is powered by a precise yet delicate quartz watch mechanism made in Germany. The red-painted aluminum hands stands out from this elegant silver-black rim, and in a way directs you attention to the renowned Porsche logo in the middle.
