Concocted by the fellows at LumiGram, each of these strangely futuristic luminous bed covers and pillows are illuminated by fiber optics embedded within their threads.
According to the creators, these lighting effects are somewhat different from the conventional stuff of neons, LEDs and electroluminiscence. In this case, the fiber optics component allows the light to be dispersed along the length of the bed cover. This successfully emanates a ‘subtle and mysterious‘ ambiance spread appropriately throughout the sheet. Even variance of ambiance is kept into consideration, as the covers are available in 10 different fabric colors, along with 4 different lighting colors.
Coming to the technical aspects, each of the covers (and pillows) are powered by batteries or by a mains adapter 110/220Vac.
