Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is fast approaching the box-office realm. And, more importantly, as the Starks say – winter is coming. So, if you want to get into the Middle Earth groove this winter season, very few contrivances can beat the sheer awesomeness of the fittingly named One Ring Firepit (from Etsy shop BohemianAlpDesigns).
Now, if the geek inside you doesn’t recognize the pattern on the fire pit (then woe on him/her), it is the Tengwar-scripted Black Speech from Mordor that Sauron engraved on the ‘one-and-only’ One Ring. Yes. the very same – “One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them; One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them” bit.
However, this time around, instead of magic gold, the contrivance is crafted from the nigh equally robust 16-gauge steel (complemented by a 12 gauge steel base). Also, it is much bigger with a 26-inch diameter that is perfect for those burning logs of woods.
