The above pictured solar stove may look all gimmicky and futuristic, but it does get its job done with remarkable effectiveness even on cloudy days. Christened as the GoSun Stove, the advanced outdoor cooking device has the ability to cook your meal under 20 minutes without requiring any kind of electricity or fuel. That’s right! The contraption forgoes any kind of synthetic power generation (including solar cells), and instead relies on the direct sunlight to fry, bake and boil.
So, what is mystery behind this unique zero-carbon scope? Well, the answer lies in the GoSun Stove’s internal mechanism that entails an array of parabolic mirrors to magnify the sunlight onto the glass cylinder, thus efficiently cooking the food inside. In other words, it acts as a convection oven with dependence on ‘pure’ sunlight.
