Undoubtedly, the next best piece of decoration in your home is going to be the new Korean Tale Night Lamp by Minkyung Chung. Its subtle design creates a soothing eclipse of light in the space that surrounds it. It is structured like an Asian tree pattern, on which is narrated the famous Korean story, about a brother and sister who become the sun and the moon. They climb up a rope to escape from a tiger, and eventually climb so high that they become the sun and the moon. Similarly, when you look at the lamp from the top, its lighted structure reminds you of both sun and moon.
Moving a bit away from the sun and moon theory, the lamp is designed in a manner that in the absence of light the images will become harder to view, but when lit at night, it embraces the tree pattern and characters beautifully. The lamp has been handmade from Japanese pencil, glue and crayons.
