It happens that we tend to consume a very hot drink mistakenly and end up burning our mouth. To prevent from such accidents Nohot Cup is the solution. This cup has a heat-sensitive material on lid that expands when it is heated. As the temperature of drink drops to 30°C, the circular section on the lid contracts. In case you try to drink from the cup when the circular section is swollen, you will get hit by it on nose just to warn you that drink is too hot to consume at present.
Designers behind Nohot Cup are Yang Dongyun, Wu Yichen, Sang Xinxin, GU Zhiyu, and Lin Xia. Who won famous ‘Red Dot Design Award’ in 2012, with this unique product design.
