As we mentioned before, this innovative system from Quirky works in a pretty simple manner. Basically, it consists of two ceiling mounted components. The first component is a hook like structure at one end that holds on to the ladder. And secondly there is a clasp at the other end that can be clicked on and off as a lock to pull down (vertically, along the walls) and hoist (horizontally, along the ceiling) the ladder. These ceiling mounted components are in turn to be fixed to your ceiling’s beams for a sturdy support.
