A creepy collaborative effort from Brazilian brand Oficina Polvo and designer Bruno Freire, the Spider Lamp is seriously a work of ‘weird‘ art. Highly reminiscent of Steampunk contraptions, this mechanical monstrosity adroitly replicates the anatomy of its organic arachnid counterpart. We would go on to presume that the user can adjust the joints of the spider legs (made from wood) to give the lamp a different posture for your dynamic living room decor. Moreover, the delicate sense of balance endows a certain degree of tantalizing aesthetic appeal that is surely to go well with the less squeamish among us.
