We have had our love affair with classy automotive furniture designs. However, this time around things have gone beyond just the design DNA, with real automobiles making their foray into the realm of car-inspired furniture. The Car Pool Tables, a company based in Florida, has come up with the ingenious (and presumably expensive) plan of utilizing original sports cars and muscle cars from the ole classic automotive eras, for their incredibly customized pool tables.
As we can make out from the top image, an original 1965 Ford Mustang has been used for the classy looking design. But of course awesomeness never comes easy. The designers had to preserve the boisterous essence of the original car and yet top off the ultimate design with functionality. They did achieve this wondrous fusion by cutting up the old cars then compacting them (the Ford Mustang was originally salvaged from a garage). After that they made molds of the components and finally put the deft finishing touches of paint and chrome.
Interestingly enough, the Car Pool Tables are not just limited to a single marque like Mustang. We can also make out the gorgeous 1959 Corvette and GT 350 Shelby from the below images. In any case, the commercial scope certainly alludes to a great way to up-cycle discarded automobiles by giving them a grand second life.
