Lolly stacking stool is an ultra modern yet minimal design stool created by product designer duo Wilhelm Grieg Teisner and Lars Olav Dybdal, founder of Oslo-based Gridy Design Studio. Both the designers strive to create simple and candid products that are comprehensible and have the Nordic feel.

Inspired by the stick of lollypop and popsicle, the stacking stool by designer duo is made from solid oak, which not only make it strong and durable but also easy to maintain piece of furniture. Lolly stacking stool delineate the beautiful assortment of traditional crafting and woodwork techniques with contemporary and sleek look. The combination of traditional and modern carpentry is what defines the minimalist designing characteristics of the stacking stool.

To provide multi-functionality, the stool is added with flat seats, to give freedom to be used as a side table or coffee table. The stool comes flat packed in three parts, which can be easily mounted by the four screws. The flat packed stool also an environment friendly piece of furniture. The stacking stool is perfect to optimize the space, keep them stacked together into one if not required and separate them when required.

The extremely lightweight and portable stool-cum-table is handy and has the ability to morph your room into modern contemporary place. The Lolly stool with other Nordic creations will be showcased in the London Design Festival in September 2015 with the focus on Norwegian manufacturing industry.
