For those who love old architectural designs, Italian Studio AMeBE has created an iconic dome lamp that pays homage to gorgeous Saint Peter’s Basilica. Designers Alessandra Mantovani and Eleonora Barbareschi have brilliantly managed to recreate the magical architectural design in form of a stunning ceiling lamp.
The hanging light fixture not only resembles the Vatican City’s iconic dome, but also highlights hyper-realistic approach to form a striking lighting fixture. Exterior of the lamp replicates the architecture of the Italian Renaissance church, whereas its interior features tiny representations of all the religious scenes found in the real St. Peter’s dome.
St. Peter’s Basilica lamp looks absolutely stunning when illuminated, as it instantly grabs attention of the viewers towards colorful scenes that are hand-painted inside the cupola-inspired lampshade. Keen artistic precision and craftsmanship are the main focal points of this creative lamp.
Recently unveiled during Milan Design Week, it is a limited edition piece with only 15 light fixtures. This means only few lucky ones will be able to brighten up their living spaces with the majestic glow. If you want to centralize your living room with the exclusive Vatican City’s dome, place your order requests on the design studio’s website.
