Simplicity in innovation – this in a nutshell defines the Face-to-Face, the aptly named shelving system that can be accessed from both sides. The brainchild of designer Bruno Serrão (from WEWOOD Portuguese Joinery), the modestly designed unit flaunts its four racks, each of which can be compartmentalized by separating cross-sectional wooden panels.
Constructed from mainly oak or walnut, the dual-side accessibility holds up the multi-functional nature of the Face-to-Face shelf. For example, the design can be used as a conventional storage unit against the support of a wall. On the other hand, the arrangement can also be utilized as a simple room divider, with the stored items ‘opaquely’ segregating the visual connection between the divided spaces.
The product is available in 3 variant sizes, all coming with door slides on both sides. The front wooden panels on these slides can be kept natural or even etched with patterns to make your room decor aesthetically interesting.
